What this program is

When you book a tee time through TeeTrak, giving a mobile number is optional, and giving one does not sign you up for texts. Texting is a separate, optional box you tick — “Text me updates about this tee time” — which is never ticked for you and is never required to book. Tick it and the course can send you automated transactional text messages about that booking: confirmations, reminders, changes, cancellations, and similar notices. Leave it and your number is simply a contact number the course can call. If a staff member takes your booking by phone or at the counter, they read this to you and record that you agreed. These are service texts about a booking you made — they are not marketing, and this consent is not consent to marketing of any kind.

Who sends them

Texts come from the golf course’s own text number when it has one, or from TeeTrak’s platform number with the course named in the message (for example, “[Course] via TeeTrak:”). Replies to TeeTrak’s platform number are received so staff can see them and honor your opt-out — they are not a general two-way messaging service.

Frequency and cost

Message frequency varies — usually a few messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan. TeeTrak doesn’t charge you for these texts.

Stopping the texts

Reply STOP to any message to opt out. We honor it right away, stop anything already waiting to go out, and keep the number blocked from then on. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, UNSUB, END, QUIT, CANCEL, OPTOUT and REVOKE work the same way. You’ll get one confirmation that you’ve been unsubscribed, and nothing after that. Stopping texts does not cancel your booking — contact the course for that. To start receiving booking texts again, reply START, or tick the texting box the next time you book. On some numbers the mobile carrier answers STOP and HELP itself and blocks the number at its own level; when that happens TeeTrak does not send a second reply, and our own block is applied as well, so a single STOP always stops the texts.

Getting help

Reply HELP (or INFO) and you’ll get a reply explaining what the program is, that message and data rates may apply, and how to stop. For anything about your booking itself, contact the course, or email us at privacy@teetrak.com. These texts aren’t a conversation: apart from STOP and HELP, replies aren’t monitored as a way to reach the course.

Delivery

We send texts through mobile carriers, and delivery to your device is ultimately up to them — we can’t guarantee a text will arrive or arrive on time. These texts are supported on the carriers that choose to participate. If you’re unsure whether a message reached you, contact the course or check your booking through the link in your confirmation.

Promotional texts

TeeTrak sends no promotional or marketing texts today. If a course ever offers them, they would be a separate program you would have to opt in to on purpose — never a condition of booking, never bundled into booking consent, and separately stoppable without losing your booking notices. Giving your number for a booking never signs you up for promotions.
